SSH access requires an assigned instance and its verified connection details.
Before you start
Use the access and features actually assigned to your account. Keep a rollback or recovery route before changing existing service settings.
Steps
- Use the username and address issued for your instance.
- Compare the server host-key fingerprint with the trusted onboarding value before accepting it.
- Authenticate with your dedicated SSH key; do not reuse a human SSO password for machine access.
- If the host key changes unexpectedly, stop and verify the rebuild or incident with support.
Verify the result
The session opens on the correct hostname and account. Do not delete a host-key warning merely to make a connection succeed.
