Before you start
Use the access and features actually assigned to your account. Keep a rollback or recovery route before changing existing service settings.
Steps
- Check account usage before a large upload.
- Confirm whether a file is fully local, online-only or selected for offline use.
- Review versions, trash and retention before removing anything; deletion may propagate to connected devices.
- Request a quota review through support when needed instead of assuming unlimited capacity.
Verify the result
Required files remain available and free space is sufficient on both device and service. Verify backups before deletion.
