Steps
- Confirm the intended domain and document root in the hosting panel.
- Create a recoverable copy of current files and any application database.
- Upload through a supported encrypted method. Keep secret configuration and backups outside public web paths.
- Test the homepage, internal links, HTTPS and relevant forms before treating the release as complete.
Verify the result
The correct domain shows the new release and a tested rollback copy remains available.
